1930s Ellis Briggs Frame
Here is one of our very early and very rare pre war frames. We built quite a few frames before our records start (I can only presume that some frame records were lost during the war years). Our earliest records only go back to 1946 but we built quite a few hundred frames before then. In fact we even have one in our workshops. It is however a period in the shops history that I would like to find out more about.
If you do come across an old frame of ours of any vintage, we can give you some history from our archives. All we need is our 4 digit frame number, which can be found stamped in the bottom bracket shell or the fork column. We'd be extremely interested in any frames starting 0xxx.
